WELCOME TO THE VA3BEK AMATEUR RADIO STATION IN

WINDSOR,ONTARIO,CANADA.

My interests are Astornomy,VLF,Jnos-packet bbs and of coarse Ham radio. I will post as much information on all the above mention on this home page,and links to other hams and points of interest.

Jnos. va3bek bbs. Is a 386 system with 4 megs of memory and a 20meg hard drive.The information from the jnos software,is fed to a MFJ TNC-2 Packet Controller in KISS mode.From there the packets are sent to a VHF FM Transceiver,In this case a Realistic HTX-202.On A freq of 145.050Mhz.Then finally into a J-pole 2m Antenna.
Serving Windsor,Essex county,Detroit and
surrounding communities.
Located in downtown Windsor.This system also provides personal mail
forwarding and pop accounts to local amateurs.Thanks to KB8POA bbs system.In the near future there are plans for adding 70cm links.That will link up Huron Township,Michigan,Windsor Ont.and Toledo Ohio.
